Meet your hosts, and the others who will be looking after you while you're with us at Garlands.
Bill
and Ian have been together for nearly 30 years (although Ian says he
was only 12 when they met!).
Bill's background is in catering, including running the restaurants and bars at Edinburgh's Lyceum Theatre, where he met Ian. Bill also spent some time in the wine trade (and he still whines from time to time) before taking the plunge and opening Garlands.
Ian has kept on his office job so is only a sleeping partner, really. He does, however, help out when we're busy... where have you heard that one before? Ian's main role is to make Bill's weekend breakfasts once you've eaten yours.
Bill is assisted by Michal and his girlfriend, Hannah and they are the ones who make sure your room is freshened up while you eat your scrumptious breakfast.
